She isn’t rescued; she’s surrounded. Equal parts humor, fantasy, and “dear god, not another frog,” the painting turns the fairytale inside-out with a wink.

“Enter Through the Window” explores the fragile boundary between what is seen and what is felt. Layers of green and yellow organic forms overlap in a shifting, biomorphic field, creating a sense of growth, decay, and transformation. Amid this abstraction, two rendered eyes interrupt the flow. Sharply detailed, threaded with delicate veins, and impossible to look away from.
The painting balances on the edge of beauty and the grotesque, a space you navigate with intention: depicting something potentially off-putting with elegance, tension, and allure.
“Enter Through the Window” becomes a confrontation. A reminder that the soul rarely reveals itself without resistance, and that truth often lives in the uncomfortable spaces we dare to look into.

“A melancholic moment. Embracing the layers beneath the surface.”
Love Bug holds two truths at once. On the surface, the figure is composed. Her expression serene, unreadable, almost guarded. Around her, color detonates: confetti-like bursts rendered in glow-in-the-dark and metallic gold acrylics, a visual register entirely at odds with her calm. That contrast is the painting's real subject: The gap between what we perform outwardly and what's actually happening underneath when affection arrives uninvited.
A small insect rests on her skin, doing more narrative work than its size suggests. It's love as something that lands on you rather than something you choose. Sudden, faintly absurd, impossible to brush off once it's there. The glow-in-the-dark elements mean the painting shifts under different light, echoing how new affection can feel entirely different depending on the hour, the mood, the version of yourself doing the feeling.
The piece sits within a body of work that treats emotional interiority (particularly women's interiority) as something worth rendering with the same visual ambition usually reserved for myth or spectacle.
